Parent Coordinator

I have been employed with the NYC DOE since 2007. I began my career as a School Aide and a Community Associate and then I moved on to become Parent Coordinator. I've been the Parent Coordinator at P.S. 93 since 2015. My passions include community service, dancing, music, reading and DIY crafts. In my position I work closely with our school families and the community. I consistently offer valuable parent/family workshops, ensure open productive communication occurs, assist families with resolving conflicts, provide teaching tools and techniques to enhance communication, and monitor parent engagement efforts at P.S. 93. As a Parent Coordinator I also work closely with our administrative team, the SLT, the PTA and all networks aligned to the school. These collaborations are key components to ensure that our parents are involved in all aspects of the school’s initiatives as well as provide supportive resources for our all families and scholars.
